The Nor'easter meet in Mystic was where I hit the 600 mile mark on my S. I had just bought it in July 2006 and won Best Stock Car at the meet. Still have the little trophy. And the car, of course. FL Dean took us on a tour of the aquarium. I believe that is where he made his disparaging remark about dolphins not being so cute and cuddly. Big shark pic...

Walking to the farmers market this AM, then to the special flower market at Rosslyn Central Place. Later Dad, Mom, Posh and Sporty show up. Gorgeous weather so should be a fun day!

Lots of young people (with hair) in those pics. That was a fun meet.
We enjoyed the stroll in the historic cemetery in Mystic. A little extra as the cemetery had a lily pond and two egrets were flying around. The grounds are peaceful, some interesting stones/monuments, but no where near as nice as Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA The nature center walk was nice as well. We drove though downtown Mystic, but the nice weather brought the people out. Too crowded for us. Headed back to RI (robb's stomping grounds), drove by the beach in Westerly, RI. Now the temps were 9 degrees different between downtown Mystic and the RI beach. No where to park, kept driving as a walk on the beach didn't seem like as good as idea.
Stopped here to eat. Mews Tavern

We are in Estes Park, after attending the wedding yesterday. It was at 4pm, outdoors, and the wind was blowing like a SOB. I haven't been as cold in years, but the poor bride and bridesmaids were in sleeveless dresses and had to be near frozen. We went inside for the reception, and within 30 minutes it was snowing. It was held about a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. 7000+ feet.

Yeah, the weather is so changeable. At least the reception was indoors.
I am not sure what song we were singing with my outstretched arms above. Very strange...

Never heard of Mew's Tavern Lainey, if it has been around for awhile my Dad would probably know it, he had a bakery route with Cushman's bakery back in the day down in Wakefield.
Still a little cold here so have been binge watching Barry and catching up with people on the phone. I think tomorrow I'm going to get the S up and running.

I seen the movie Mystic River (good movie) , but I have not seen Mystic Pizza. I think the Mystic river is near Boston.
