I can see you looking at me with a weird look on your face lol

I know it sounds odd to many people, and it isn't that we are Amish or afraid of magnetic waves. But microwaves just never lent themselves to our methods of cooking and reheating. Microwaves change the texture of some foods that we like to reheat, and we would never use them to cook food outright. We have always had toaster ovens instead. I prefer heating food up in a toaster oven in terms of the way the food responds. We never had the need to heat things up really fast, so the stove top always worked well for us for baby food/milk/etc. With no need for one we just never purchased one TBH.

My sister doesn't like them. I always forget when she comes to visit and then as I'm heating something up for her in the microwave I remember when I see the strange look she is giving me.
I use mine quite a bit.

My good man, you do realize that you have timer and power level controls right?

Yeah but you can't make crusty bread and pizza come out of a microwave by reheating, some cheese items heat up funny too in microwaves.

Thankfully I don't have to mess with such controls as we don't need one. Oh yeah one more thing, we almost never eat leftovers, we pretty much eat what we cook and that is it. We then move onto the next meal.

We've kept busy the last couple of days. Nice weather Friday and Saturday. Headed to Falmouth, MA for a top down drive yesterday another area not too far today.

Tomorrow, I need to stop by the gift shop which has some of my photos for sale. I hadn't checked in for a while. Looks like six of my 5 x 7 photos have sold, along with one 8 x 10. I'm in the money. Actually, spent most of it already as I needed supplies.
It appears lighthouses and fishing vessels, or a lighthouse WITH a fishing vessel are the hot items. Still in the red on this whole deal but that's OK.

Rick is hoping to take advantage of cloudy weather and clean/wax the Honda tomorrow. No garage means he needs to plan that task according to the weather.

My wife doesn't like some food reheated in the microwave but I have tricked her a few times and she didn't know the difference.

I am looking for a microwave with convection heating, I wouldn't use it much but when I do need it, it comes in handy.

Plus the stainless needs to be a close match to the rest of our appliances. You would be surprised how big of a difference there is between the different manufacturers.

Alas, Posh was not feeling well today, so the family did not join us for dinner. We went anyway and it was delish! I had eggplant Parmesan and Vito had salmon penne.

My tile laying project starts tomorrow, it has been a few days of prep work and buying all of the tools needed to do the job, plus the materials. This is for our bathroom which was previously tiled, so removal of the old tile and mortar took a bit of work.
