Driving back to our rental down south for less fun and games. I spent the last week there tidying it up between tenants, only came home again because I'd run out of clean clothes. One thing led to another and I'm now half-way through repainting the outside, which isn't an easy task since Wellington is the (likely actual, likely factual) windiest city in the world. In the process I've also painted part of the car, the driveway, the bushes and parts of the surrounding houses. All that clinging to the ladder for one's life is great for weight loss though.

I'm sure you are no where close to my age but as someone who fell off a ladder onto the cement driveway many moons ago I can tell you that no matter one's age the ground wins.

Sat is Bruce Springsteen cover band at our fave local venue, the State Theater. Everything there has been fabulous, so I expect this one to be, too.

Not quite the weekend yet, but my cousin from MI called and we are meeting for dinner this evening. Have not seen her in awhile.

We need some nice weather and fun plans/adventures. So far this weekend, the only thing on the list is attending the interment of our friend's Mom's cremains. She was a fun person and will be missed by all. Breakfast/brunch will be served after and there will be alcohol, even if it's before noon! I will indulge too! She'd like that.
