I'm looking forward to warmer weather and doing things outside. There are still things I could do inside my house but sick of being cooped up. Expecting bad weather so will do some cleaning and cooking and maybe some reading. We turn the clocks ahead next weekend so that's a start.
For a day with no plans, I had a good day.
Managed to stay on the spin bike for the 45 minute class and kept up pretty well.
Rain tomorrow, so I decided I HAD to get some fresh air this afternoon and head out with my camera. A Y lady joined me and we happened upon a snowy owl when I least expected to see one. It's a big thrill for me to see one. I've seen much sharper, better pics of snowy owls taken by others, but this one is my pic, and that makes me happy. After our big find, my friend and I went to the Y lady coffee hour cafe for a little bite to eat.
Meanwhile, Rick was filling trays with dirt. He's starting some of his plants.
Pic is a bit grainy, but you get what you get....
Cool pics Lainey seems like the snowy owls like souteastern mass and R.I. I know there are some down in the Jamestown ,Newport area.
Not much going on in my little world pretty boring. I'm thinking of getting myself an e-bike, don't want to spend every weekend cooped up in the house when the weather turns better. I'm thinking of getting something that I can ride on the logging trails but also something that I can ride to the trails from my house which would be a couple of miles. I used to do quite a bit of road riding on my old mtn bike but that was before people were driving around with their faces buried in their cell phones so think I will stick mostly to off road riding. Be nice to get out into the woods again.
This weekend I'm going to pack a bunch of enthusiastic (yet naïve) teenagers into the back of a van, and take them hiking in the woods. Sounds like the synopsis for a horror movie, right?
