The +1 ended up going to NJ for couple of days to see his mother. Back tomorrow. Having lunch today with a friend at a local sports bar. Will watch the Memphis/Penn State Cotton Bowl. The +1's son graduated from Memphis and is a huge sports fan. He also is a walking sports trivia expert. Teaching in Baltimore now and is going to coach basketball at his school starting after the holidays.

A bit past the weekend. Had a nice lunch with Granny. She is still on for retirement this Fri. I told her hello from y'all.

I'm flying to so Cal (SNA) today and then driving to Scottsdale, AZ on Friday for three days for the Winter Challenge ElliptiGO meet. It will be nice to ride in the upper 60s/lower 70s, instead of the 40s! I fly back to Denver next Wednesday.

Now that my medical procedures I've been dealing with since Oct have ended and holiday events attended, weekends have calmed down considerably. We will be winging all of them until mid Feb when we head to Phoenix for the Valentine's Day weekend, where the +1 will run the Lost Dutchman half marathon and we will visit with relatives. Looking forward to seeing the adorable grandnieces who moved out there for a year last Sept.

The tenant in our rental property in the capital city is moving overseas so this weekend I'll be driving 200 miles there with a wagon-load of tools, paint, cleaners etc for a weekend of "fun". I was down there for the day last weekend and the gardens are massively overgrown so that's where the bulk of the effort will go. I'll be showing a few prospective tenants through the house at the same time, and also doing some office work for 4 hours in the middle of both days.
Hopefully by Sunday night I'll be driving back home in triumph (but not in a Triumph), with new tenants confirmed, the house and gardens back in a presentable state, some extra funds in my pocket and a smile on my face. Hopefully.
Also, this weekend I'll take the key to the house's front door, which I forgot to take last time...sigh.

Driving a Triumph would not be bad, either!!
