Just use the hand crank supplied in the trunk (oh, that's just an MG thing). No key, here's another trick, go to the fuse box and simply bridge the upper fuse holder clip with the lower fuse holder clip. You can use the end of a spare fuse, a screw driver, or anything metal. Those were simple times.

Went to younger adorable grandniece's soccer today. She was in two games. For fun, they had the parents join in for part. Some of the parents thought it was their game. Lots of kids wore costumes, though, so it was cute. Will post pics later. Headed to late brunch with the gang in awhile. Celebrating soccer girl's 5th birthday, nephew and wife's anniversary and Halloween. I was surprised older grandniece (Post Spice) decided on a pirate. Turns out her costume has a skirt and soccer girl's (Sporty Spice) has pants. See how they all react when we meet them in our hippie outfits. Not sure they will even know what they are.

I cleaned up the leaves on the lawn. We have the tow behind leaf vac, the mower mulches it sucks them up and mulches them some more.
works ok. but I may do some redesign on it. The hoses either pop off or get jammed way to frequently.
It took the better part of 6 hours. boooo.

I was watching a higher mileage '88 560SL on bringatrailer. that had my eye. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...enz-560sl-221/
this morning it was still under 5 grand.... hmmm, I just couldn't let it go for that little.
Lo and behold two gents got into at closing and drove it up to 13,5K. and it didn't hit reserve....

Those and the 450's and 380's, 350 slc's have been climbing in value. They made a lot of them so they haven't been bringing big money in the past but with everything else going up people are trying to find something not insanely priced. Plus they are great cars, built like tanks.

My GF and I (and her ex, who is my childhood friend!), celebrated her son's wedding nuptials with, what else? A Kegger!

Me, taking a pic of my GF, taking a pic of them eating their wedding cake, which my GF made.

They strung up a piñata for the granddaughter to have some fun

Pics from the Sporty Spice soccer game and combined Halloween, Sporty Spice birthday and nephew/wife anniversary…Vito and I went as hippies and the girls had no idea what hippies were. So we kinda explained and they had a blast with the colored glasses and peace signs. Posh Spice was calling everything “groovy.”

Sporty played one game with the younger kids, then the next one with the older girls. Big difference. The older girls were much taller and a bit more intimidating. But I think she will do well from now on. Soccer starts up again in January (indoors).

What are your plans?
What kind of sled do you have? How deep are the lugs in the track that you got?
