It hasn't moved for several months, hope there's not too much rodent damage.
After winter storage, I pull the fuel pump fuse (Fuse #2 according to my notes), turn key, hit the start button and let it crank for 5-10 seconds to let the oil move around a bit. Pop the fuse in and start her up!

Thanks for the tip. Sadly this task is on hold. Forgot to pull the battery lead last time I drove it and now the battery is toast, charger won't even accept it. Off to get a new battery and a trickle charger tomorrow.

On the positive side, no evidence of rodents in the cabin or under the hood. I can't raise the soft top to check in there, and haven't checked the trunk yet, but I suspect the overpowering smell of cat urine on the garage floor near the car has been a good deterrent. I'll count that as a win.

On a positive note (pun intended) I'd rather swap out a battery than chase down a short or shorts from rodents eating wires.

Those are easy. Put in a solid copper “fuse” and look for the fire!

That's a new one, sounds like a much more aggressive version of the smoke method, I should of tried that on my MGB

Hopping to detail, oil change on the C2S tomorrow before her hibernation. Also like to winterize the sprinkler system tomorrow as well.
