Our adventure will be over Saturday as we head back north to be home Sunday. What a way to ruin a weekend!

I'm planning to get a coat of wax on the WRX and do a few other things to get it ready for winter. The weather is iffy, cloudy is good which it is but rain is not good so trying to figure out whether to do it today or tomorrow.

Going to go see the new Dune movie tonight, with my GF, my son and his wife.

It's double-date! Haven't done this since High School!!

Thinking to get rugged up (high tomorrow of only 60 if we get lucky) and head out east toward southern Ohio Amish country in the S.

Today we stopped at a few breweries in SC had lunch at one. Gorgeous day. Rick likes porters and stouts. Not too many of those on the list.
End of day one more trip to see / photograph birds in the nice light. A little something for everyone
Tonight we are at my brother in law’s. He and Rick are playing a little cribbage. It will be an early night. Busy busy week.

Was hoping to see younger adorable grandniece play soccer last Sat and celebrate her birthday, but she came down with a stomach bug Fri night. Fortunately tested negative for COVID/flu/RSV. So now we are celebrating on Halloween by having nephew and family come over for brunch with the girls in their costumes. Then they will go home to trick or treat. Weather will be great Sun after a very rainy Fri and showers Sat.

We have a 4 AM pickup Saturday to get us to the airport. Have to get organized and packed up this week. Good news is that our friends are split between flying and driving. So, their car gets my golf clubs and some miscellaneous stuff on the way down and back. I may not take my golf shoes to St Lucia. The reviews of the one course on the island haven't been great lately, and I am getting in 3 or 4 rounds in Florida. I'll be ok without them.

There's a new course being built that's a few months behind schedule. I would have played there, but officially, it opens in 2022 now.

Vito and I have decided to dress up as hippies for our brunch on Sun. Should be fun...tie dyed shirts, tie dyed bandanas and colored glasses, and peace symbol necklaces. Groovy... OK, minus the weed.

I'm going to work all night, both nights, and probably use heavy machinery all day. Might spend some time up a ladder too. Nothing can go wrong!

In fact another task has been added to the list. The S2000 is scheduled for its annual roadworthy test next Thursday, so I'll spend part of the weekend digging it out, recharging the battery, and probably had-cranking it to minimize starting damage. It hasn't moved for several months, hope there's not too much rodent damage.

Was hoping it'd be nice weather on Thursday but forecast is for rain and 59 degrees. It hasn't seen any rain for well over 10 years.
