If Southwest doesn't go someplace near where I want to go I don't go there. Period. I absolutely hate every other airline. Southwest never overbooks and never says somebody has to give up their seat. Flying is stressful enough without having that worry. You don't have to pay extra for baggage. You have to pay for extra for anything.
...Oh, and no change fees! I got the Southwest Visa card for the extra points and have had four free flights because of it. It's not free but it's a big saving when you consider the cost of the flights you don't have to pay for.

Not quite the weekend yet, but tomorrow is a milestone birthday for the +1 (60) so I'm taking him out for dinner at our new yummy Italian place up the street. Nothing like being able to walk instead of getting in a car.

Sat we are seeing nephew for a few hours while he is on layover at Dulles. He finally gets a break from his overseas assignment. Yay...then he heads out to AZ to reunite with the family for three weeks.

I'm going to WRAP things up for this weekend for Christmas, which will be finish buying presents and wrapping and packing. Went to a monthly community luncheon today that we have at our little town library and had Ham, macaroni and cheese, au gratin potatos, 2 kinds of coleslaw, a rice vegetable casserole, green bean casserole and cheesecake for desert. Then the 2nd graders from our elementary school came and sang three Christmas carols very cute. Like living in a Norman Rockwell painting.
