Rick is giving my Jeep it's fall wash and wax/detail. I went to the Y and will head over to my sister's to hang out with her a bit. She wanted her husband to go to the baseball game of the little boy who is like a grandson to them. She's moving about better (with the broken leg), but I'll keep her company. We are headed back to her place for dinner. She has a large gift certificate from a local restaurant and she wants to share. We will order take out.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring. We will be getting ready to depart for SC later in the week.

It sucks! It took four hours to clean ONE side of the house. Thank goodness it is the only side that needs cleaned.

I still need to do the frames of two windows but that is going to wait.

We walked to our larger local farmers market and got a few things. Then stopped and had a bit of brunch on the way back. Tomorrow Vito is running his little team's version of the Army 10-Miler. The race itself got cancelled again, along with the Marine Corps Marathon he was training for. So I guess he will wait to run the Charlottesville Marathon in April and shorter races in the meantime. Monday I think we are going to see the new Bond flick.

What did you use that took so long? For mold I use a Quickie Bulldozer 9” poly fiber stiff deck brush ($8 at Lowes) to apply “30 seconds Outdoor Cleaner” ($14 at Lowes, 64 oz sprayer) Spray on, hose off.

· Cleans grimy green, slippery black, algae moss and mold from all outdoor surfaces
· Outdoor cleaner that is safe around plants, landscaping, and lawns
· Cleans decks, steps, siding, gutters, fences, pathways, wood, painted surfaces, anything outdoors

I picked up a mold remover spray from The Home Depot and it didn't touch the spore balls. I ended up using the pressure washer.

Using a brush would be difficult as some of the spores were over 20 feet off the ground and climbing a ladder with a bum knee isn't a real good idea.

The other challenge with those mold spores is they actually can damage the wood underneath.

I always liked this stuff for killing mold and mildew type stuff. https://www.cabotstain.com/products/...d-Cleaner.html

To quote Dr. Donald D Davis from Penn State
"There are no fungicides legally registered (labeled) for use against the artillery fungus in landscape mulch. Bleach, if it worked, would be very temporary, since it leaches out with each rain. We have tested many different fungicides in the laboratory, but have to take the experiments to the field."

Attended our last cars n coffee of the season, can't believe how fast it went by, and it is like Ralper always says about the S2k community it's more about the people than the cars. I always spend 90 percent of the time talking with everyone and the other 10 walking around looking at the cars.
Someone new showed up with a Bristol which I have never seen before. We thought it was a Lancia when it first pulled in, it was a beautiful example.
