What plans do you have for the coming Weekend ?

I agree! I turned 175,000 miles on my 03 AP-1 on Friday on my way to check out the Hell Bender route in WV. I put another 791 miles on it this weekend.
I am always amazed when driving in WV that one can drive for miles (even on a weekend) and NOT see another vehicle for miles. FWIIW the Hell Bender loop is fun, IMHO WV has some of the perfect roads for an S-2000. The posted speed limit is 55 MPH but even in an S-2000 that is only possible about twenty-five percent of the time.

Normally I wouldn’t even mention this but its been so long since we’ve taken a trip, even a small one in the MG, I thought I’d post it. We’ve logged 1,000 miles this year but it doesn’t feel like we’ve been anywhere. We’re off to a Birthday Party west of Grand Rapids. Its our club’s 45th birthday. Heck, I even polished the car.
The following day we are going to Shipshewana, IN. A tourist spot with about 700 Amish. They serve some really good meals and we always enjoy visiting it at least once a year. And then there's that fun pub on the way home. This will be Roxy's first sleep over at a dog-care-place; hope it goes well.

Thanks Ray but I should add it is most definitely a driver
Hey Scoots, some of those Amish seem like they are hitting 35 mph with those horse and buggies!

It can take a incredible amount of force to overcome that.

Well I was going to take my son and some of his classmates on a hike into the mountains but we now have the Delta Covid strain in NZ so we're in full lockdown again (after the first community transmission case in the entire country was reported). I knew it was only a matter of time so I've been stocking up on building products over the past while, and this weekend I'll tackle a few things like sorting out the irrigation for the raised planter boxes, fitting insulation above the center portion of the garages, and if the boards in the music room have dried out after varnishing I'll cut up some plywood to lay down as flooring, then put in some skirting.
Not even going to start typing up the rest of my list. Should be done by about 2074.

For a country that is supposed to be in Panic Mode #2 based on the empty shelves at the grocery store according to my #1, you sure can't tell it when it comes to planning a trip. We were hoping to go to Put-in-Bay next week; called our B&B and learned they were totally booked for the week a year ago and no cancellations. We want to do some short over-night trips to get our dog adjusted to staying at the fancy-dog-pound and to enjoy what short summer is left in the MG. As we found out last weekend popular spots have all the motels booked. I guess a lot of us Yanks have had enough staying at home.

We are in the midst of a major home purge, hoping to be finished by end of weekend. Having lived in our current home over 15 years it is unbelievable how much "junk" one accumulates. We just kept storing things in places we don't look at much. Purging the home of clutter, unused items, and junk is a very pleasurable experience, it just feels good to get rid of it all.
