Clearing growth behind a fence. His wife has it too but not as bad. They should have been more aware......lesson learned, I hope. He's had bad reactions before, this time is the worse given the swelling around the eyes.

I got stung by a bee on my forehead while riding my ElliptiGO on Oct. 19, 2014. It really hurt badly so I rode straight back to my car which was about 2 miles away and got the stinger out. By the time I got home my face was puffing up so I went to urgent care. It's hard to know what your reaction will be and when the swelling will stop.

Thanks, all. Patricia, he's got a similar look around the eyes, plus the poison ivy rash too. What did they give you, Patricia?

On top of all the meds, they suggested Benedryl a few times a day, cool compresses too.

Rick did a little puttering, I hung around a bit and then needed to get out of the house for a while. Went towards the Harbor Walk where the Ospreys and egrets hang out. Got more pics of an egret than I'll ever know what to do with.

It was pretty windy....feathers all over the place!

This past Saturday we had my oldest granddaughter's graduation party and said goodbye to my daughter and her as they pack up and move to South Carolina.

Next weekend is the Honda 200 at Mid-Ohio Raceway.

I love the fluffy feathers. I don't remember what they gave me as it was7 years ago. I think one was a pill for itch but I didn't itch. I was just puffed up. I think I took Benadryl, too.

Sun is July 4 so will be watching the national fireworks over the Wash Monument from the balcony as usual. The program this year is virtual again, but I assume there are no limits on the crowds down on the Mall. Also hoping to have lunch on Fri with two friends who worked with me at the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) for many years.
