Played lousy golf today. Really, lousy, golf....

While playing a P38 went overhead, and a B29. Then I remembered it was the Trenton Airport Weekend for the AirPower Tour (https://www.airpowersquadron.org/). Closing in a few minutes so I didn't have a chance to walk the grounds.

A 30 minute ride in the P38 was only $1100! The B29 rides range from $570 to $1500 or so. Next stop is Massachusetts this coming weekend.

Gary they'll be at the museum I was at on Saturday.
I would be very reluctant to fly in one of those old warbirds.
They did have ride/drive a tank for similar pricing. Nice thing is a tank won't fall out of the sky when a component fails.

Every day is the weekend. Started my day today at the Harbor Walk and had a photo shoot with a Great Egret as well as a Snowy Egret. Got some steps in. This afternoon more steps on the Cape Cod Canal. Gorgeous day here, low 70's low humidity! My kind of summer weather.

A little road trip planned for tomorrow. Maybe dinner on the road.

We tend to go for the outings mid week to avoid weekend crowds. Temps will heat up by later in weekend, early next week. Hope I don't feel the need to hide inside.

Saturday we are going to a downtown classic car show / mga meet / BBQ / pool party. Hope the weather forecast lives up to the billing. We will skip going to or entering into the car show. We been to so many over the years they have become just a quick walk by and I'll let others do the chest pounding about the car. It's the drive there and meeting friends that matters.

We are headed to a brewery in Middleburg tomorrow called Lost Barrel. He tried their Toasted Lager. We have a small specialty beer store up the street and he tries a lot. Wants to keep them in business even though it might cost a bit more.

We support locals whenever we can! They are the only thing that keeps areas from looking like cookie cutter towns - all the same.

Well, the +1 gets a new holiday today. Bit of a surprise. But he got the second Shingrix shot yesterday and had a headache all night, so putting off the brewery visit. Beer and headache do not go together, at least going in!
