Weekend has been rather quiet but a busier week coming up. Wednesday is busy with taking my friend to lunch and a Y lady dinner and social hour in the evening. Thursday we will pick up the granddaughter while her car has some work done and we will take her to lunch. If her car isn't ready when she has to go to work, we'll give her a ride, and pick up her car and drop it off to her. Friday one of the Y ladies and I are headed to Newport RI. We will take in one mansions that is decorated for Christmas and likely have lunch. Saturday AM after the Y three of the Y ladies and I, (we have become close) will have breakfast and exchange small Christmas gifts. Lots of eating this week................

Should be amusing.
I have a 43in 4K monitor for work (I'm in IT, I do many things at once) and it's superb, like having 4 monitors in a 2x2 setup, so I can run a Youtube clip in "full screen" mode and there's still 3/4 of the screen available for doing actual work.

I swear my productivity hasn't dropped off. Ahem.

Had a good time and walked 4.7 miles!

Can't sleep? Me either. But I would be sleeping in if I walked that far.

So with Ken and Deb up early and Dave being a night owl, maybe I should have checked in here to see what was happening, when I had trouble sleeping last night. Went to bed around 11:30. Got up around 12:30, stayed up for a bit, tried to sleep again, gave up after 1:00, visited the medicine cabinet and still saw 2:00 AM. I'm tired as hell today. I am not one who does well on five hours of sleep and sleep that happens after 1:00 or 2:00 AM isn't very restful. Glad I could just goof off this afternoon.

How did we stay up late and get up at a normal time back in the day?

Normal working time or normal retired time? There is a BIG difference.
