Funny example of autocorrect. I know you meant “deep end” but you might need “Depends” before you are through.

Will have a to rent an engine hoist. I just don't feel like dropping $1500 in labor.
Figure maybe he'll learn something.
Good for you. I have one I am not using. Good learning/bonding - hope all goes well.

Yes Dean "deep end of the pool" I'm not sure I can blame autocorrect. my typing just sucks.
Going to pick up an engine hoist today.
One popped up on Facebook marketplace for $50 today.
Timing is everything.

Reality crept into my fantasy about doing the clutch.
At 30 I would have been slinging bolts already. At 63, I have the resources that it is not mandatory to stay within the available budget.
What I am afraid is I don't have the available physical resources.

I will only add this to the conversation, I have an engine puller, an engine stand, and zillion tools, a wonderful work area - gas heated if needed, and twenty years ago, when I was your age, it was all great. Today, I choose my projects with a great deal of planning and unless I can talk younger people to join me on them, I put them off or pay to have someone else do them.

Jerry, you were supposed to be the supervisor, remember?

Big weekend. Ordered a new vacuum. I'd been telling myself to do this for a while. Last week the foot pedal/switch that kept the vacuum upright broke. So it was time. Of course, I could have done Dave Quinn style research, but heck no. I had a Hoover, and a couple people suggested a particular Shark. I went on Best Buy, compared three of the Hoovers and a Shark. I ordered a Hoover Wind Tunnel again. Had attachments, and a few features I preferred. Not expensive and it was also on sale. The next model up was more heavy duty, and heavier, which I don't want. I really don't need a heavy duty vacuum in the house. The last Hoover was purchased in 2003. I don't expect the new one to last that long....

Big Doins' is what my Dad would say Lainey or as I say livin' life on the edge. I've been cleaning my house during the commercials while I'm watching t.v. and if I have enough energy tomorrow I'm going to do a body scrub on the WRX and get a coat of wax on it before work tomorrow night.
