LOL, any model builder can appreciate how one really minor mistake can screw it up . . . happens in the real world as well working on cars.

This is how we spent our day. New walk into my cold storage so I don't have to walk on those &^%&%^&%^^$ river rocks. I'm very pleased with the results. I must give a lot of credit to my two young (by our standards) neighbor's who helped us two old farts on the heavy lifting parts.

Absolutely. While it’s. A model, it has some very detailed sections. I was putting the engine together... cylinders, crankshaft, rods and pistons. And it wouldn’t spin freely. Took me a little while to realize that I had one piece backward. The suspension is detailed and seeing how the steering wheel connects to the front wheels is pretty detailed as well. The engine spins and the rear wheels move, so yes, a model, but for the most part correct and working.

I’ll dig in later. Cindy is sleeping. Maybe after the F1 race.

Nicely done on the path.

Thanks, Patricia. I think so too. Snuggled up reading to the little guy and singing him a little song before bed made me just a little. Her granddaughter told me she missed Memere. I told her I did too.
Nice job on the projects everyone.

Don't hear Memere very often. We used to call my Grandparents on my Mom's side Memere and Pepere. My Grandfather was French Canadian.

Yes we have French Canadian family. I opted for Grandma. Memere sounded old to me.

My Grandfather's family immigrated to Fall River and in looking it up a lot of French Canadians immigrated there at the turn of the 20th century.
