^The Facebook group didn't say. It's an open Facebook group: NoCo Auto Enthusiasts.

^Yes, that's the thing on many minds. I knew this kind of thing happened in CA but I thought Loveland was small time and more about old rebuilds.

I haven't been to a car event in years, the inevitable "Hey guys, watch this!" idiot is someone I do not miss.

It rained on Saturday so instead of starting the mailbox I went to an orchestral concert in which my children performed, then spent about 6 hours under the house lying on my back on cold limestone installing insulation. When I got out I felt violently ill even though I'd been wearing a mask, I suspect I absorbed some of the chemicals in the insulation through my hands. It took me hours to warm up in bed and I couldn't face dinner.

Come Sunday it was 82 degrees and sunny and I was starting to feel better, so I popped a painkiller, put on my sunglasses, and went and did some more work on the cottage, then got started on the footing for the mailbox. We're heading back into Winter now but this is always a great time of year - crisp mornings, warm days and lovely sunsets. My phone doesn't capture the vivid colors too well but the leaves are turning and most sunsets are pink/red. The property is still a bombsite but we're eating the elephant one bite at a time, and at the end of a hard day's work I stop, look around and realize just how blessed we are to be here.

It clearly was a great afternoon to watch golf.
It could have been a closer finish but it had it's moments.

one the other side.
A few weeks ago I bought a 4 lb 20 inch handle sledge and a 16 lb sledge with a 32 inch handle.
it seemed lliek the thing to do at the time since you never know when you need a good sledge hammer.
Today squaring up the existing timbers and driving 10 inch spikes into 6 inch timbers was the day.

cue the music.

So excited to be having a cookout on Sat with my nephew and his family (adorable grandnieces) over at an old friend of mine's house. Girls can run around the yard and have fun and all eat some yummy food. And actually give some real hugs!!

We had a good dinner and good time last night celebrating our 52nd anniversary. We both had the lobster, shrimp, salmon dinner and somehow turned $60 in food into a $140 dinner with tip. It was good time and our server was a old friend from two prior out of town bars we used to stop at. The first closed and the second burnt down, so it was a nice surprise to see him again.

Patty one of my son's friends was over Saturday night. I had given him a ride in my GT S and we had had a discussion about the hellcat and it's handling.
I enjoyed showing him your post last night. Timing, as hey say, is everything.
