Probably write Christmas cards this weekend and put up minimal decorations (three small LED trees and some other small stuff). The +1 is running a local Jingle Bell 15K race on Sun.

Mine went out the week of Thanksgiving. With the short window between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I sent all 86 of them out a few days early.

I normally send them out the day after Thanksgiving.

That is a lot of cards. The +1 and I each have about 20.

Saturday evening we are joining a dinner cruise aboard a medium size paddle wheeler which is participating in the Biloxi Christmas boat parade.

All I want for Christmas is an open bar.

^ I did one of those years ago when I went to Nashville on business. It was fun.

Not much on schedule this weekend. Need to come up with something. Will start the weekend early and head out for a late lunch tomorrow. Next week I have a busy week with Y lady happenings, dinner out, cocktails and a Yankee swap at the homes of one the the ladies, should be fun. Maybe I'll take my friend (with cognitive issues) to lunch. We can meet one of the other ladies from the Y and she will have her adorable three year old grandson with her. That should entertain my older friend.

Almost forgot. Thanks for mentioning lunch, Lainey. Tomorrow I have an all afternoon lunch with the Memorial Hospital Data Team of which I'm an emeritus member. This is mostly true during off-site team building sessions which involve consumption of excellent gulf sea food along with several adult beverages to lubricate the exchange of ideas, gossip, jokes, non-work-related news, and general tomfoolery. It keeps me young.
