Nothing exciting planned except some taste testing of some bourbons I haven't tried in a while - Traverse City Whiskey Co, Elijah Craig, Gentleman Jack, Woodford Reserve, and Buffalo Trace. They didn't have an Four Roses, or I would have added that to the list.

We had a Jeep Gladiator in the Autoline Garage last week, and while we’ve reported on this vehicle before, it made us go back and look at how this Jeep is performing in the marketplace. Jeep probably knew that the Gladiator would steal sales from the Wrangler. And it did. Sales of the Wrangler are down 13% this year. But when you combine sales of the Wrangler and Gladiator, sales are up by 18,000 units, or more than 7%. We estimate those 18,000 units brought in at least $750 million more in revenue. While the base price of the Gladiator is about $34,000, we tested a Mojave model with a price tag of nearly $60,000. And we’ve got to believe that FCA is minting money off these Jeeps."
The Gladiator seems to be the latest thing I am seeing a ton of them up here this winter.

We have a "busy" weekend.

We have decided to rent some ATVs Saturday. The place is about 1/2 hour from our rental. After that, Cindy wants to go to the Amish market nearby. If we get back in time, I have an online dart tournament in the afternoon. If we don't, I think I'll head back out for some photos. There's a few abandoned resorts in the area. They are private property, but on public roads so I should still be able to walk around wide enough to get some pics without any risk. I'm thinking B&W would be dramatic if I do my stuff well. Birchwood Resort and Mountain Manor are two nearby. There's also waterfalls throughout the area - I hiked some Monday. Sunday, who knows, but football in the afternoon.

Next weekend, we are planning a trip to the Upper Delaware River - the PA/NY border, not PA/NJ border, to go Eagle watching (hopefully some photo ops!), and probably connect with some cousins for some outdoor time.

Stellantis just become the fourth-biggest automaker in the world by volume and third-biggest by revenue. Now under the Stellantis umbrella are Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Lancia, Maserati, Citroën, DS, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall.

Day off today Going to go through my mail, pay some bills and catch up on some of my car magazines. Was hoping to wash the car but the wash bay was closed yesterday and today. Went out and gassed up the car this morning before the really cold weather kicks in.

Dave I would be curious to hear your opinion on the Woodford Reserve.

Good. Extremely smooth. Not a belly burner at all, heck, not even a belly warmer. Its been a few years since I had some WR. The last time was a very rare and special WR that a rich friend of mine from KY brought to Watkins Glen for the races. I didn't say anything but I found funny that he added ice cubes to his!

I didn't care for Elijah Craig . . kinda smooth but not a taste I care for. I liked Buffalo Trace . . . more my kinda bourbon.... a good tasting belly warmer. I didn't realize Gentleman Jack was nothing more than Jack Daniels till I got it home. JD will do in a pinch. The TC whiskey is one I brought to the Spring Fling in PA a couple years ago that a few Vintage members got to try.
