Lainey, it appears you are helping to make one manufacturer happy . . . from Autoline Detroit
"FCA MINTING MONEY OFF JEEPS
We had a Jeep Gladiator in the Autoline Garage last week, and while we’ve reported on this vehicle before, it made us go back and look at how this Jeep is performing in the marketplace. Jeep probably knew that the Gladiator would steal sales from the Wrangler. And it did. Sales of the Wrangler are down 13% this year. But when you combine sales of the Wrangler and Gladiator, sales are up by 18,000 units, or more than 7%. We estimate those 18,000 units brought in at least $750 million more in revenue. While the base price of the Gladiator is about $34,000, we tested a Mojave model with a price tag of nearly $60,000. And we’ve got to believe that FCA is minting money off these Jeeps."

I might use that four wheel drive this week. Happy with the car. It has new car smell along with the fun toys. I can-even start it from my phone or send the navigation system a location from my couch

Woo hoo... I have plans.
We got our Covid tests back and are clear to go.
We've rented a house up in the Poconos for a month. We leave Saturday. We're still working during the week, but we'll have a change in scenery and some different walls to look at. Weekends we are hoping to do some outdoor stuff that's got limited risk - maybe some ATVs, dog sledding tour, tubing, light hiking, photography, but not skiing or snowboarding.
We're packing what seems like our whole house. Cindy is bringing her craft supplies to do her thing and I'm packing up an entire dart room of stands, lights and supplies for my evenings. On top of that is two home offices (so 2 laptops, 3 monitors, my dock, keyboard, wires, chargers, headsets). At her Mom's, I could get away with a few days of smaller screens, but a month is different.
We're likely taking both cars for flexibility when there. It's a 2 hour drive, so its not like we're going to Florida in separate cars. It will also make packing much easier.

I have two weeks off coming up so I'll be painting our rental cottage, inside and outside, after the current tenants move out and before the new ones (yet to be found) move in. I've bought some scaffolding to make it quicker and easier, I've always wanted some as I've spent so many years defying death on badly balanced ladders. We have a lot of renovation and tree pruning to do over the coming years too so it's going to be well used.
I put up a "test tower" the other day to see what the view would be like if we added a second floor to the house. Big mistake, it was great, now we don't know whether to build up or out.
I might also get around to hanging the rest of the tractor shed doors so we can move the tractor and implements down there, and have some covered space for more building materials. Gogogogogogo around here.

Starting to pack for our 2 month stay in Naples, Fl. We are driving down. We need room for all the clothes my wife brings and a little for mine. I ship my clubs with ship sticks and put our bikes on the roof of the X3. We take our time and only stop for bathroom breaks and gas. Our 2nd stop will in Savannah, Ga. a city that we love. Our daughter is doling better and should be home in a few days. We thank God for that as it was questionable for a while.

Ray, I may ask you to look at some cars for me.
I'm sure it will be a terrible chore. just exercise some SL550's or SL63's
