Thanksgiving we will some of Patty's family over. On Friday we will be headed to my sons house for my grandaughter's birthday. Saturday and Sunday I will continue to strip the S2000 getting it ready for the paint shop on the 9th.

Dave,
For pretty much every event, holiday or weekend, we all assume that you and a group of friends will be going to a pub to drink.

Another birthday party (daughter turned 11 in August but for the past 4 years she's been sick so we've held her party when the weather is better) then more overnight work on Saturday night, followed by more dazed-and-confused rambling on Sunday.
I'd like to point out the weight of Led Zep references at the end of that sentence, and await your hearty adulation.

^ I hope your daughter can be more well in the future.
Very long weekend coming up for most everyone, I guess. The +1 mentioned going to the Caps game tonight, so may do that. I got some very good pathology news yesterday, just in time to add it to the list of things to be thankful for this year.

@MsPerky Thanks for the well wishes, I should clarify that she hasn't been sick the whole 4 years, she's just been sick on her birthday each year.
It seems I've just had "put up a shed" and "remove a kitchen" added to my weekend list. The current kitchen we have is from the early '90s and everything feels tacky (we only moved in 6 weeks ago, not our cleaning!) so my wife headed down to the local auctions and paid $400 for a kitset that had never been installed, complete with sink, double oven and hob. All I have to do is figure out how to get it to look right in our kitchen. It's only supposed to be temporary while we decide how to configure the whole house but it'll probably end up staying there for 10 years or so, after which I'll install it in the garage.

The guys will watch football today, then we are headed to a bar to watch the Caps game this evening. Tomorrow we will probably walk to Georgetown and see Tom Hanks alias Mr Rogers.

^ Too many football games on today, so movie is out.

This afternoon I met some of the Y ladies for a Holiday Stroll in downtown. Stopped at a few shops, a local theater where they had some entertainments, hot chocolate and cookies (that was my lunch). Last stop was an historic home that is lovely. For some reason I had never been inside. Tonight we had a second Thanksgiving dinner with some friends. Time for some low calorie meals.
