I had a trio of Scag mowers when I was a caretaker for a large condo property. Had a 36 inch walk behind, 48 inch walk behind both with sulkies and a 61 inch rider. They held up very well never had any major issues with them. When we were shopping around to upgrade the 61 we had planned on getting a xmark but I was shocked at the cost especially since it was something that would be sitting from october to may. We ended up getting a midsize john deere tractor with a mower attachment for summer and also a snowblower attachment for clearing the walks in the winter.

Doing a couple of home projects I have been putting off for too long. Going through books, putting the keepers in the bookcase and putting the rest aside to get rid of somehow TBD. Also cleaning out and rearranging the storage unit downstairs. By Monday both should be done.

Really hard to believe. We saw the play 10 years ago in Toronto, I didn't realize he was still performing even then.

This Saturday night we have tickets at nearby Dover Downs Casino for the Jerry Blavat show. This is meaningless to you if you have not lived or grown up in the Philadelphia area, I know. He is a radio legend in this area, and is able to arrange some great doo-wop and oldies shows. In fact, we attended one back in 1992 that was the absolute best show I have ever seen. Click on the top left when this link opens for some details.

The +1's son will be with us for TDay and a couple days after. So he/we will be doing some stuff with him. I think the two of them will go to the Caps game Fri PM. And they will watch college football, too. I may watch a little.

The weekend starts on Wednesday, I guess. Going to visit my daughter down south, back to Mass on Friday after turkey day and then I'll figure out the rest of the weekend. I may spend it with my son and his +1 and my brother and his wife.

Thanksgiving with my son and his family, my sister and brother in law. Then we have Friendsgiving on Saturday. Another turkey dinner............more food. Just what we won't need. It will be fun though. I enjoy Thanksgiving more than Christmas.

We are going to be volunteering at a church community meal on Thanksgiving Day. We did that last year because last year our kitchen had just been demolished that week in preparation of the remodeling. This year, on Friday, we are going out of town to Ann Arbor for the OSU/Michigan football game, so we didn't want to cook on Thanksgiving.

Our daughter had asked if we could move our family Thanksgiving meal to Friday, but I said that we could not because we were going out of town.

Our daughter and son-in-law will be having about 50 people to their new house for Thanksgiving. Her mother-in-law passed away about 9 years ago, and her father-in-law remarried. The new wife has a number of children, grandchildren, blended families, etc. The new wife did Thanksgiving last year for about 30 people, and she said that was the last time she was going to do it. So our daughter and son-in-law stepped up and said they would do it at their new house. We are welcome to go there, too, but we probably won't know very many of the people, and we didn't really feel up to visiting with about 50 people we don't know! We might pop in for dessert, though, after we help at the church community meal.

The night before Turkey Day a large gang of us meet for dinner & drinks at a local pub - we know the proper way to start the Thanksgiving preparations. T-Day is turkey, family, and watching the Lions get beat.
