11-17-2020. I had not planned on spending the weekend trying to get my cats happy in a bathroom but that's what's going on and I'm really happy that I can. They make me content as well.
While I was making this post I got a call that XCEL Energy will be turning off the natural gas to my house. Precaution for the fire.

My area is now on immediate mandatory evacuation.

You got out at a good time. I hope it is just a precaution!! Here is a map of the fire:

Glad to hear you are safe for now Patty.
Here's hoping everything turns out OK.
On a more positive note.
After 50 years of waiting I finally broke down and bought a table saw.
I can't count the number of times I wished I had one but I could never quite justify it.
It was heavy but Manged to get help at lowes loading it and used ramps to unload it, right onto the two wheeler and into the cellar.
Spent most of the day putting it together. I love Delta equipment but man their directions suck.
Tomorrow I finally trim the front door.
ics to follow.

Good to know you, Patty, and your cats are all safe with family. Hopefully the fire will never reach your house. Hard to imagine that beautiful area on fire.

It's stayed north of Estes Park. I just read that it burned about 4 miles north of me but once it hit the grassland they controlled it. The weather is much better today for for for fire fighting.
