We've always been at some car event, MG, S2000, etc. on Derby Day. The one year we made definite plans to actually go to it rather than watching on TV it fell apart due to our host having health issues. We are off to an MG meet this Saturday and will have to watch it on TV once again. We've never tried a mint julep either; sounds way to sweet for me. Our hosts, who lived in Derby Town, were always into high end bourbon. Sham it didn't happen.

The next couple of months, with the exception of some baseball games and a few cultural activities (Camelot, Guns n Roses cover band - which I guess can be called cultural ) will be quiet. No trips until our big one in July. Making choices for excursions for that today.

Legal Bill

Throwing a big fisherman's party on Saturday. Hopefully another boat will be ready to go in before them, but I'm running out of days. I'd like to go out and do some squid fishing. I think I might be safe installing the summer tires on my BMW...

NASCAR is in town this weekend at Dover International Speedway. Not going near the place, though the attendance is way down from say, 10 years ago. They removed about a third of the seats so it doesn't look so empty on TV.

We are off to my grandson's 5th birthday party on Saturday. On Sunday we are going to my granddaughter's volleyball game. Both are over 2 hours from home in opposite directions!

I hope to get out with my camera to the nearby daffodil field. Maybe tomorrow after work. After work today I may skip the Y and help Rick toss mulch around the back yard. It's that time of year. He was hoping to switch out the tires on the S, but the S is still in the body shop. The guy has been doing the work as a "filler" and is on vacation next week, painting has yet to commence. We won't see the S for at least a couple more weeks. Weekend weather is iffy at this time.

Dinner with a friend Saturday. Will also stop by his brother's place first to visit with his Mom, who is an 87 year old sweetheart of a person.

FINALLY getting the garden ready to plant so I can get the trays of tomato and pepper plant starts out of my kitchen :P Now that the ground is finally thawed.

Probably will take the S out since it will be nice ... go play some disc golf or something outdoors to enjoy the weather.

And I think I am going to cook up a batch of barbacoa, you know ... since Saturday is as good excuse as any to cook up some tacos!

I'm on the autox tires on the S ... so its full summer tire time for me!

The pickup still has the winters on it .. need to get those swapped!
