Morris, keep a stiff upper lip there pal, I'm sure that oppressive tropical humidity will wear on you but you'll get through it.

This weekend: Got the S2000 washed and ready for storage...then the rain came. Yard is a swamp, so it will be a while before I can move it back to the shop and do the final detail and fluid changes.

Next weekend: If it dries up, I'll be doing snow tire change over on two cars before the S2000 goes on the lift. Time to stake out the driveway. A final trim on a couple of trees and then I'll be in decent shape for the long winter.

I ordered my very first snow tires from Costco.com yesterday. I ordered Blizzaks for my 2017 AWD Pilot, that I just bought in September. (BTW, Costco has $70 off on four Bridgestones and, at least here, a week long window starting Thursday, of 4¢ for the installation.) Right now I'm in California with the Pilot but when I finally do get to drive home to Colorado I don't want to be slip, sliding away. My driveway in Loveland is steep, long and curved even if the streets are clear. I had planned to get the tires put on in Colorado but I didn't plan to be stuck in California for six weeks waiting for a broken foot to mend.

Move that black stork out of the drive first, or you'll hit it.

Rick ordered snow tires and inexpensive wheels for the S. I'll have to post a picture. This will be the first time the S is driven in the winter. Could get interesting if we get dumped on with snow, but if he's nice to me, I'll give him a ride to work in my Jeep.

That's something most of us won't be doing!
