She's a zookeeper at the Sacramento Zoo. A little girl saw her when the hair color was fresh and asked her if she was a unicorn. Christa said yes and that she's an endangered species. The little girl said she would take my daughter home and take care of her.

^My thoughts, exactly, Lainey.

. I see colored hair often and most of the time it looks tacky to me, especially on mature women but I tend to like it on younger adults.

To you and all the anglers here who plan to go fishin' this weekend...May your skies be clear, your seas calm and your nets full.

Thanks Mike. My net casting skills could use a lot of work.

Ryan, our grandson turns 11 years old today. Time flies! Tomorrow afternoon he is having a birthday party at a local indoor soccer place. We'll head there for a bit. Not sure about the rest of the weekend. Weather looks great. Top down time for sure.

The +1 decided to stay in Annapolis tonight (driving back from NJ) since he's running the 10-Miler early tomorrow AM. Then he comes home. So it will have been over two weeks since I last saw him. Today he told me he just found out he has to drive to PA on Mon for a meeting Tues! Back Wed. Then he leaves Fri again for NJ to put his daughter on a plane back to Memphis on Sat. Back Sun. I think he's here for awhile after that. Crazy...

Cast net fishing is sort of popular around here. Not uncommon to see someone tossing a net into the sound. Less common to see a good catch, though. But the skill and technique shown by many of the cast-net practitioners around here is cool to watch.
