Yes. Last year I fished into the first week of November. This year fall has been very windy. I've been out only twice so far in October.

I want to do it but I don't want to drive an hour and a half to ride and have my tongue dragging on the ground climbing these hills. These two guys are bad ass riders who I've ridden with before. I don"t know if I'm going to go or not. I'm leaning towards no but who knows. We have a Mexican restaurant to eat at when it's done. I like that.

Are you fully recovered from the accident, Patty? Do you feel you are back in ElliptoGO condition?

Well... your friendly local Soccer official has a High School and a College match this weekend. My little town is having their Apple Butter Festival and I'm running the Festival 5K Sunday morning.

Monday is a Federal Holiday (yea, me!) and my coworker and I are heading to Hocking Hills State Park (home of Old Man's Cave), outside Chillicothe, to do car photography of my Berlina and his Porsche GT.

Then, of course, a High School soccer game that night! At least, starting next week, soccer slows down, as High School in Ohio are in the playoffs.

^I didn't go with them but I did get in 15 miles from home this afternoon. I think my views were a lot nicer than theirs and I didn't have to waste at least hours in the car to do it.

^10-12-2019. I love to ride to this reservoir for the reflections and peacefulness. It's 5.5 miles from home going the long way.

^10-12-2019. This is about 2 miles from home. It's the Big Thompson River that flooded out of Estes Park in 2013.

^10-12-2019. Snow from Thursday on the shady side of the house.

Pretty much. Oct 9th was 5 months since the surgery. The arm/shoulder aren't back to full motion but they don't hurt. It's just tight. Let me put it this way, I'm still not up to hooking a bra behind me but that's the only thing I'm not able to do. I'm up to riding what I used to but I'm just lazier.

It burns about 30% more calories than riding a bike. Since there's no seat you never get a sore behind and since you're standing you don't get a creak in your neck. You're up high and can see a lot better because of it. The one I ride, the 11R, weighs about 38 pounds so hills are definitely more work carting that weight up than on a light weight road bike. I get my doors blown off by bikers. They/ElliptiGOs aren't as fast and I think when I rode my Specialized bike I would average at least 1 mph faster.

The +1 is running the Army 10-Miler at the Pentagon this AM. Just watched a member of the Army's Golden Knights parachute down to the Pentagon parking lot. Red streamer behind him. Pretty cool! Might go over to the Key Bridge to see the runners. Prolly won't see him.
