I had a wonderful solo hotel room in the City center for 5 days and am going to a former student's (friend's) house tomorrow for s couple of days before leaving Berlin. But I have partially been hanging out with friends and former students the whole time over here, except in Prague, where I was totally on my own. I've had a wonderful time.

The S looks good in white I never see white ones on the road.

^Nov. 12, 2009. There was a surprising number of white ones in Southern California in the good old days of meets at night.

We took a road trip to CT today. Went to a few areas where we've not spent much time. Really pretty areas. Some nice walks near the water, a nice state park, which had a nice marshy area too with a TON of egrets. Stopped at a sculpture garden. There is much about art we don't get. The names of some of the sculptures left us 
. I have a hard time putting a caption/title under photos and these artists come up with names for their sculptures which often look like abstract art to us. Like I said, we don't get art.
