Scoots If you get a chance in the next couple days I would like to know more. The fellow MGA'er we travel with is really into serious collecting of oil cans, oil signs, and oil pumps. You can PM me if you prefer. Thanks in advance.

Took my Dad to Saratoga Springs Park today. We walked around the buildings around the reflection pool and the auto museum and filled up our water bottles at the springs. We cruised around downtown Sarasota springs and neighboring towns and took the longer long way home.

We enjoyed touring that area. There were some springs/fountains where one could fill water bottles, but the water did not taste pleasant at all, to me. Minerals, or whatever, ick. Did you enjoy it?

Its funny that you say that Lainey because we did go to the spot where you can fill your water jugs or bottles and I have been to the park many times but had never done that so I said to my Dad let’s fill up our bottles and see what all the hubbub is. There were people all around it so we ended up going to different sides of it to fill our bottles mine didn’t say anything on it about minerals or anything else. On the way home I asked my Dad if he noticed a difference in the taste of the water from the springs and he told me that he hadn’t filled his bottle because there was a sign on the side that he was on that said there were minerals in the water and he didn’t want that. Personally I didn’t notice a difference in the water but I have been drinking well water lately so I’m not what you would call a conosueir.

I've had well water and I've had that Saratoga Springs Water. Well water is wayyyyyyyyyyy better.

We enjoyed our one hour harbor tour today. Our captain, Kathy gave a great informative tour. Her knowledge of the fishing vessels and some of their equipment and what they fish for was way better than mine, and that's the industry I worked in for so many years. It was a nice day to be out on the water for a bit.

Dinner at a long established restaurant downtown. Pleasant evening.

I finished removing the last of the wallpaper in the house! Finally!

When I get back from Boston (Progin Park, Lancaster, again, Lainey), I'll start patching/sanding to prepare for paint this Autumn.
