Good weekend. Rick and I enjoyed our mini road trip yesterday with stops at the beach. I called a friend of ours last minute to see if he wanted to join us for dinner. He did. He's without a +1 at the moment. Good time as always.

This AM I spent some time with my animal and bird photos. I'm making a picture book for my great niece, using letters of the alphabet and corresponding photos of animals, birds, reptiles...The letters U and Q are a challenge as of now...A trip to the zoo is going to happen soon after retirement. I need a few more photos. I'm pleased with the way it's coming together.

It was chilly this afternoon but I headed out a bit Found some harbor seals, snapped a few photos, but without trespassing, couldn't get much. This one is cropped quite a bit. They aren't very exciting animals, but cool to see them nearby.

I moved into the 21st century last weekend and tried out the electric go karts. Have to admit they were a lot of fun very fast top out at 45 m.p.h. and very hard to get out of shape. It is an indoor track and they let you race for 7 minutes. Website is www.r1indoorkarting.com
Good to finally get time to spend with my Dad and sister. Dad is getting ready to head down to Florida and find a house to buy and sis is moving into our house in r.i.

Is this track part of the F-1 company in Braintree?

This weekend I have the New England Saltwater Fishing Show in Providence on Friday, my firm's annual Godfather party starting on Saturday morning and running until the early afternoon, and a middle school play featuring my grandson in some capacity. On Sunday i rest!

Still trying to get some projects done...weed out all the books we want to get rid of. Also need to clean out the storage bin so I can put some other stuff in it. What fun...

Sun we are going to brunch/lunch down here with my nephew's family (the two adorable grandnieces), then to either the Iwo Jima grounds or a park in Georgetown. Will be a nice day in the 60s.

I don't know how they do it but F1 in braiintree gave you a wrist band when you came in.
When you went to the bar they took it away.
No wrist band, no racing.
