They are throwing out the “northeaster” term for a storm that’s coming this weekend hope they are wrong. Scheduled an appointment to have my snow tires put on the wrx for Saturday just in case.

I'm supposed to be on soccer duty with the grandson on Saturday. It's a make up game from the lousy weather we had a few weeks ago. Not sure that will happen. Not much planned outside of that so far.

No big plans - Sat looks to be rainy. Sun will be the running of the Marine Corps Marathon. Thousands of people and streets shut down until late afternoon. So we usually don't attempt to leave by car. Do plan to go see the runners and ring the bell at Mile 1 when they come up 110 from the Pentagon and turn left off Wilson Blvd to go to Lee Hwy/Spout Run. We also watch the runners after the finish near the Iwo Jima from our balcony. Big festival on the streets of Rosslyn.

MCM and July 4th are the two really crazy days around here.

I have to order two sets of snow tires when I finally get home. The snow is flying to the north and I guess it's time.
been a tough automotive month.
Had to put a battery in the SL. The GL needed airshocks at all 4 corners. The E needs new front catalytic converters.
The AMG needed winter rims as well to put the snows on.

Of course the Honda is doing fine.

Going to Rome for the Pantheon light show (ends Sunday) and some carpaccio and carbonara. Smoke a cubano. Home Sunday.

Still looking like a big sloppy mess for this weekend. Gonna be on the road Saturday but will bunker down sun. Took the s into the “big city” after work yesterday to get her filled up with non ethanol gas as it looks like going forward roads are going to be covered with salt. I was a little bit nervous taking it out as it was in the 30’s and raining but figured sometimes ya gotta live on the edge!
I gotta say that even after 15 years of driving this car I still love it coming back last night I was thinking what I always do at the end of a drive in my s “I gotta drive this car more”

Gee, that sounds pretty boring. Sure you don't wanna make a brief stop at National and pick me up?

We were supposed to be on soccer duty with the grandson. He had a make up game scheduled and my son and daughter in law are both working. I think the weather will cancel those plans. He's going to need a make up game for the make up game.

Bad weather tomorrow night into Sat AM, but then OK. The runners for the MCM on Sun will be happy about that.

Haha
Vito is so badass!

I hope to be driving south to Texas this weekend. It has already been snowing in New Mexico, so I hope to pass through beating the snows. My car is RWD and no snow tires. House repairs are finally wrapping up.
