As for golf . . . get over it (this is what my wife would have said, if I played) . . . its just a game!

Today we're going to see an exhibition of art by M.C. Escher in Brooklyn. The exhibition features 200 works by the artist and should be very interesting.

I had people in my house for 11 days: boyfriend, old (in both ways) friends and my seester. Finally, I'm back to me and my two cats which feels fine to this loner. There's a Global ElliptiGO Riders Club (GERC) that I've joined with rider challenges from May through September. September means Team Competition. Last year I was on the team that won. One day in this year and I'm on the losing team of five. I would love to know how the five teams are chosen. In any case, it doesn't matter much to me. I rode 18 miles yesterday and 31 miles today. I like that it gets me off my butt.

For you Vintagers whining about your golf game, please see the jokes thread for new rules I just posted. It will definitely improve your game.

Was thinking the weekend would be a washout and tomorrow will be. But today looks like only clouds. We had so much rain last night. One t-storm after another for about three hours. Crazy...anyhoo, nephew and family now coming over for pizza and run around Iwo Jima grounds for the little darlings (the grandnieces that is). They have a lot of energy! Hope it isn't a mud pit. The +1 hasn't seen them in ages and he leaves Thurs for a 200-mile relay in NH next weekend. Watching the weather for that, too, but right now it appears Flo will hit the Carolinas sometime early Thurs (track not firm yet), which is when the race vans leave DC.

The +1 signed up for a 10K tomorrow as a tune-up. Looks like a very wet tune-up!
