We enjoyed the P car cookout. We didn't mingle much at all, though we probably should have, as that's what those meets are about. We hung out with the NE guys that attended. They all owned S2000's at one time. One still onws P car and S, the others have moved on. One has a Tesla. He now has two cute kids and I got to take a few photos of them. It's hard to believe it's been 14 years since we met these guys.

Yesterday was a rainy day, and that was a good day for picture hanging.

Not much happening this weekend. I need to check with my nephew as I think he will be in the area. I've yet to meet my great niece who is now 2, so I hope his schedule works with ours.

Hoping for some time to explore a new to us local marsh walk/other nature sites. Pack a lunch and we're good to go....stop for beer or dinner on the way home and it's all good. Also want to check this out:

Weather looks good for the weekend. Tomorrow I'll hit the Y and hang with my lady friends for a bit. Not sure what the afternoon evening will bring. Sunday we will attend a cookout at my sister's brother in law's house....LOL...Our nephew (my sister's son) will be in town from NY on his way to ME. We will finally get to meet our great niece who is just over two years old. She's a real cutie. I expect a good time. We enjoy the company of my sister's in laws. The brother in law, a local fire fighter, is a ton of fun and just a bit crazy. Our kind of people.

Maybe earlier in the day we'll be out and about. Local bike path now has bike rentals. We may give that a try. It's been a while.

Giving the airlines another chance to get our luggage right. Heading to Lake Tahoe for a week with the WHOLE family. Going to be 11 of us. I’ll just say, organizing flights from 4 different cities to arrive and depart within a reasonable time was a significant challenge. Now just crossing my fingers that nobody has travel / luggage issues!

I'm sure you have already considered it, but I try to Carry-On as much as possible.

Spending Saturday at the vintage races near Pontiac, MI. Every year I arrange for a car corral for our MG club and they support us very well - its the single best viewing area on the track, they provide a large tent, table, and seating with the grandstands nearby, plus a beer and brats vendor right next to us and the rest rooms are only a short walk away. It doesn't get any better. Plus we get the chance to drive several laps of the track at break time.
