That's all we can hope, especially in this day and age. Congrats.

Time passes. That could be our granddaughter next year. She just got her first job as a certified nurse's aid. They take the test in their junior year of high school. She will go out on co-op program and work over the summer and hopefully next school year. She also needed a foreign language for college requirements and she and a few others (who have good grades) were given the opportunity to take the required course at a local community college for free.

Friday I will be in Delaware to help my parents celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. Saturday-Monday will probably be working on some small chores around their place, along with my much handier brother and my much more "crafty" sisters.

Not quite the weekend yet, but today is CAPS day in DC!! Big parade and rally downtown for the Stanley Cup champs. Not sure where I'll end up. Gonna be crazy.

Thurs I'm having lunch with our dear Granny. Been awhile since I've seen her. Weekend looks fairly quiet at this point.

Tomcatt run, Marietta, Ohio. Have to drive the bash mobile as the fender and door damages at spring Fling won’t be repaired until week of the 25th. Should look real pretty for the Pittsburgh Vintage Gran Prix in July.

Deb, please say hello to Granny/Angela for us. Saturday we may head to a local brewery. It's a nice back road country type drive, then on to dinner. Will watch the weather and see what we can find to do on Sunday. I know we won't head to Cape Cod on a Sunday this time of year. Last Sunday by 1:00 PM there was a SEVEN mile back up of folks trying to get over the bridge.

It's German Car Day at the Larz Anderson auto museum on Sunday. We've never been there. Maybe it's time....We can take a German car if we want. .

Yes, Deb. Please give Angela a big hug from the Mississippi Hippie and the Giver of Beads.
