Hey Levi,

It was good to see you again, and to meet your lovely wife, Karla.

Hope you both make it to our neck of the woods sometime soon.

Really good to see all you NE folks again too Lainey, someday we hope to take a run down to your area or NH, but it won't be till 06.

I can't believe what you did to your poor Suzuka, maybe Steve can buff it out for you. What exactly did you run into?

It will need a bit more than buffing. There's a hole there too.

Rick does business with a body guy that does beautiful work. He'll have him take a look at it and see if it's worth repairing.

I hit the concrete thing, known to some as "elephant turds" (kind of a gross name for them) ,in a parking lot when we stopped for a break.

It's weird as most of the time I'm very aware of those things. I guess I was caught up in the moment of the fun of the drive and of having Rick ride shotgun for a change.

It was his turn to work the radio for a while, and do you know someone out there in our group called him my "radio BI__H"

I don't want to name names, but I think Chazmo was one of them.

There is something about riding shotgun that brings out the b**** in folks sometimes. My +1, who never uses off-color language, affectionately refers to the passenger seat as the b****'s seat since at our first Fall Colors one of those Pennsylvania guys introduced him to that term. Of course, he always has to ride in the passenger seat in the S. It is very difficult for me to surrender the wheel of the S to anyone. I discovered that having a very feminine license plate keeps most fellas from wanting to drive it.

The whole thing with using the term radio B**** was all in good fun. We got a good laugh on it. All we do with these folks is laugh!

I drive the "S" often, but for the most part, Rick much prefers the driver's seat. Since the drive was slow paced, I wanted to take the wheel for a while in a group drive. He was a good sport about it, even when I crunched the spoiler.

Oh, I have to apologize to anyone who may have been offended by my language when I crunched the spoiler, as I know I used the "son of a B**** " phrase.

After seeing how nice his pics looked, I was going to ask the same thing.
Of course you realize camera nuts are usually people who have been in 'training' most of their lives and they laugh to themselves when people ask them that, while they think to themselves "If it was all about the camera, everyone would take pictures as good as mine."

Thanks to Jim (PokS2K) for info on how to make the "bulk upload" feature of s2ki work. Seems as though the more 'vintager' I become, the denser I get

Here are some more pics from the weekend.... these are from the Logjam on Friday, and the Raintree on Saturday....
