Interesting pictures, Patty. This one answers a question that I had about the fall colors. Looks like there were some beautiful colors, but still lots of green leaves left on the trees.
This hasn't turned out to be a good year for foliage. Columbus Day is peak for my area and the colors are very dark and I'm still seeing a lot of green. We had a long stretch of unseasonably warm days and nights which is not the best recipe for vibrant colors, mild fall days and cool temps at night are the best recipe.

Here's some of my pics. I know a lot of them are sort of repeats, but I'll post 'em anyway.

Here's what it looked like when I left my house and the whole damn way up.

I was able to find a +1 late, I'm not sure if any of you met him. He didn't talk much. Just kinda hung out grooving to my travellin' tunes.

Then the drive Saturday. Oh gee, more rain. Huh.

Sort of dry at this point. Notice in the first pic I'm in the wrong lane. Hard to drive through a viewfinder.

Sunday drive.

The split off point for Matt and I.

Yours and Matt's cars look so lonely all by themselves.

I have a question, how do you drive, shift, take pictures, probably use the radio maybe even smoke and drink a coffee all at the same time?

You are quite talented.

to your +1. Cheap date, I heard. Doesn't eat much.

Well, I edited the post. If you'll notice, I ended up in the wrong lane after one of the pictures. No oncoming traffic, but interesting none the less.

And I would never smoke in the car. No coffee, but Diet Coke has a lid so I can set it down without worry.

And my +1 was real quiet. A little hairy for my tastes, though.

Hotel pics.

That's it. I had too much fun and kept forgetting to take pictures. And when we were at the Raintree, I was laughing too hard to take pics.

Phil,

Didn't you get any pics of your Redneck friends at the Raintree?

^ Lisa, nice to meet you and Claudio. Hope to see you again soon. I wish someone had taken a picture of that dinner plate they brought you on Saturday. OMG!
