[QUOTE=Kyras,Oct 11 2005, 09:03 AM] Granny,

Rick started in a very low voice, reading/singing the words and it was hilarious.

I thought maybe he was singing "That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it, uh huh uh huh."

And Matt was crying during the singing. A few of the highlights:

Rick (aka Lainey's B__h) singing the que for how many bars in the song (ie. 12 bars), the Uh-Huh's and singing "It's Raining Men"

Jerry singing "Girls just want to have fun"

Bill doing the YMCA.

No, but it did have innuendos.

Some of the verses were pretty good too. If I remember doing something 'slowly' was included.

Thanks Patty, I'm laughing just imagining it. Maybe I'll get a demonstration at the next meet. I'll buy the Sam Adams for ya, Rick.

And there weren't nearly enough pictures of you. Were you hidinig out in your room? It still amazes me that you travel so far to be with us but believe me, I know why. Sorry I missed you this time around, as well as everybody else.

Edit: Did he really sing "uh-huh" for 12 bars? Love the screen name if he did.
Granny, bring your ATM card. It took a lot of Sam Adams to get him to that point. It will cost you.

His voice was pretty raspy on Sunday from all the "singing", a bit better yesterday.

And Legal Bill prompted him too with something like "Sing it Rick, don't let Lainey hold you back."

You know, a meet is more than a weekend. By the time we travel, get together, go home, post pics and re-hash, it's more like a week. I've got to get some work done, but I keep clicking on this darn thread.

That was the first song that came to my mind too. What other song has that phrase? Or maybe he was ad libbing because he didn't know the words or song. We need to hear from the guy himself now that he has a screen name (if he remembers). Guess you had to be there.

Interesting pictures, Patty. This one answers a question that I had about the fall colors. Looks like there were some beautiful colors, but still lots of green leaves left on the trees.

Great pics, Patty.

Looking forward to your people pics.

You really didn't see the best of the best foliage. I don't think that area, nor ours has had enough cool weather which really turns the trees vibrant colors.

This pic is from last year.

Lainey and Diskoe, thanks for the tips on resizing software. I'm still looking for a program that's easy to use.
I believe one of the easiest and free programs is Picasa 2 which you will find at the Goggle search site. It does a great job of organizing everything, displaying it, it is as simple as it gets to crop (resize), it works great for sending emails, etc. Everyone I know who has tried it, really likes it for it's simplicity of use.
