Default What makes a meet great? Part V

Once again, as always, its the people.

We had a weekend of rain but it didn't make much difference. The drive planned by Levi and Karla was awesome. The dinner and singing was great. All in all, I think we had as much fun on this meet as any I've been on. We laughed so hard that we cried, and best of all, we got together with old friends and met some and made some new friends.

Special thanks to:

Jerry for finding the StillBay Inn. A charming inn located right on Lake George.

Levi for planning the drive route. It was as good as any I've driven.

Karla for her commentary along the way. We not only saw things but found out what they were.

Robb for putting together Sunday's drive through Vermont.

The gang at the Raintree Restaurant for helping to make our party work.

Everyone at Stillbay just for being so nice and having such a nice inn.

And everybody who attended for making this a great meet. When you get right down to it, what makes a meet great is the people, and Vintage people (and pur preVints) are the best.

Photos later.

Glad to hear it went well (not that I'm surprised). The Vintage folks always have great time, no matter what!

I'm very sorry to have missed it - get those pics up!

Robb,

I was nice to meet you and thanks for putting together Sunday's drive.

BTW, us Vintage folks have had years of experience through trial and error to hone partying into an "art form".
