Default What information car's now collect!!

This is a post from a UM professor friend of mine:

"Last fall, Mozilla released a report called "Privacy Not Included," a buyer’s guide for technology but through the lens of privacy. From connected toys to smart home products to, now, vehicles, the project aims to offer consumers information on the security and privacy of the technology they buy. The report called modern cars a “privacy nightmare." The project researched 25 brands, all of which earned the project’s warning label, finding that vehicles from BMW, Ford, Toyota,
Tesla, Subaru and more collect data about drivers, which can include race, facial expressions, weight, health information and the locations people drive to. Cars use various tools to harvest data, including microphones, cameras, and the phones that drivers connect to their cars. Car makers also collect data through their apps and websites, which they can sell or share with third parties. Nissan earned its second-to-last spot for collecting some of the creepiest categories of data including your "sexual activity." Kia also mentions that they can collect information about your "sex life" in their privacy policy. Six car companies say they can collect your “genetic characteristics.” Everyone should be reading car privacy policies."

It has gotten out of hand. It sucks as most people want or need the connectivity features so you agree to the small print in order to get the services promised. The facial expressions is interesting as many cars have driver alertness alerts, so the car scans your face and body movements, I always disable that feature.

They can check my sexual activity but I don't think it will reveal much lol

They won’t find anything out about my sexual activity.

Must be the new Larry Flynt edition.
I’m going to wait for the Pristine Edge edition.

I had no problem in my Dads Nash Rambler. But, I was a lot thinner in 62.
