Regardless of how one feels about America's involvment in Iraq, just like the soldiers of our Vintage era war (Viet Nam) one SHOULD NOT lose sight of the fact that our Armed Forces are carrying out the orders that were given to them. Just like the cross section of the population that is reflected here in Vintage, I feel fairly confident than many of them do not agree with the politics of this effort. But, while they are there, regardless of how you feel, they deserve our utmost support.

Hey Matt If you ever get down this way, I want to buy you a beer.

Hell, maybe two.

Thanks for the offer.

From one Veteran to another, I guess that we are preaching to each other's choirs? Now, I have to deliver the bad news: I do not drink beer. But, I will take you up on your offer of two of my favorite libations. ;-)
