Good to hear the "we're home" stories. Patty, sorry to hear about the flight delays but cake for dinner is just another way to enjoy life. Jim, I don't know how you can drive such long stretches. Herman, so glad you were able to make the trip. to you for all the hard work you did to get to where you are now. Every time we get together with you folks it's like no time has lapsed. I can't believe it had already been a year since the SF meet in MD.

I was looking at FlightAware. My flight was too late to make my Denver connection. I had to spend the night in Denver (Wednesday night) and flew out today, arriving at LAX at about noon. At least United put me up in a very nice hotel and gave me $20 in food vouchers. I still had to pay again ($25) to check in my bag, after I waited for them to find it last night. Also had to pay an extra $25 for LAX parking. I was very happy with my warm chocolate cake and "Top Shelf" glass of red wine in the hotel lounge late last night. Dinner.
