We're Home!

We made it in 1.5 hours. Rough trip... I'm always in awe of our intrepid members who, time and again, trek long distances to celebrate with the Vintage family. It is a testament to the strength of our friendships, on and offline.

Renee and I truly had a blast. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and say hi and let us know how much the enjoyed having us at the event. I enjoyed SF2010 but only came for the drive...I can't believe how much I was missing out on by not coming for the whole weekend.
I look forward to attending as many Spring Flings as I am invited to as a Pre-Vint! Once I turn 40 in another decade or so you won't have a choice as to whether I come or not1
Renee and I got home (well to my parents to pick up the boys) just before 12:00 which made it a 2:40 minute drive back up. We lost some time on 522 thanks to a slow car in a non passing zone but I want to give a big shout out to the the gent driving the Audi A8L with PA plates S-Racer. I have no idea what that meant but I assume it meant you wanted to race me because you blew my doors off on the turnpike. Several miles of cruising at speeds that can only be described as "go straight to jail" and we were back on schedule!
See you all again really soon!

Just one short stretch of top-up as it raine3d a little approaching Berkeley Springs. I didn't want to be caught driving slowly through town in the rain! After that, it slowly cleared until the sun came out a little after Breezewood. We picked up some Subway there, no other stops and we were home in 5 hours, 20 minutes, arriving 3:45pm.
We'll sleep well tonight!
Thanks to all the organizers, attendees, and hotel staff who made this weekend a great one!

We didn't mean to blow you two off this morning but we woke early and packed out early. We didn't see you at breakfast so we left early as well. We left word that we were leaving so hopefully you got that. Did you end up in the same monsoom we went through from Knoxville to home?
