Default Washington Post Review of S2000 CR

Warren Brown of the Washington Post reviews the S2000 and discovers he's getting too old to drive a car that handles well. (From the Washington Post 12/23/2007).Warren Brown's review of the S2000 CR

I got the same complaints from a friend of mine I drove around Austin in my S. He wanted me to drive it like a Ford Explorer. Hard to do in a S2000.

Auto Week - normally one of my favorite mags - had two reviewers of the S2K not long ago - and neither were "impressed".

I was so mad I wrote a letter to their editor. I think they were expecting an Accord or something. We need to get Jeremy of Top Gear to drive the S - HE would appreciate our car!

All right, I read the whole thing through this time... That guy is a MORON! For one: "S" is for Sport -- and has been ever since 1963 when the prototypes for S500/600/800 were being created.

And for two: I don't what tracks he has supposedly driven at but none of them I have been were "free of bumps, potholes, ridges and ripples". Even F1 tracks can't claim that much less any place where most of us could afford to drive our S!

I'm looking for the link to write to HIS editor as well - idiot!

Grrrh - noone badmouths my favorite car without hearing an earful.

Go for it Ellen. I've already written to Warren Brown. If you click on his name in the article, you should be able to get his email address...

I think CR is a fairly decent model. It comes with aluminum hardtop to boot. Apparently, you have to pay for sound system and AC extra. But for the club racer in people, I think it is worth considering. You can drive to the race track and on the race track. That's a good marketing line.
