Not a problem. No apologies necessary. The more input the better.

mikene55, that was a great list. The transitions (domestic-english-domestic-japanese-german) were fascinating. And the notes were hilarious.

And that's some dog you got there.

I helped a friend pull the engine from an X a few years ago. In a gravel driveway. Without a hoist. We just jacked the ass end way up and dropped the engine onto a heavy piece of cardboard, then dragged it out from under the car.
Almost the same story here, but we had a sheet of plywood instead of cardboard.
Oh, you must have been at the high-end Fiat shop downtown.

Yes, and I have a potential bidder who lives in my community coming to look at the car this evening. I'm hoping for a flurry of bids in the last two days. I'm not happy about selling the car but I'd like to come out whole.

Not the worst thing in the world if I lose a couple of bucks on it, Adam and I had fun with it for a year, but I would like to break even.

We should start a pool, but I think your final number will be close to $4K.

I hope you're right. I just had two guys from the area here. Between them they own 5 X-1/9. The consensus is that the car is worth significantly more than the current bid. One of them wants it if his wife agrees. He currently owns two.

Someone else is coming tomorrow to look at it.

Did you see the red '87 on eBay? What are the odds of two low mile '87s posted at the same time?

Just about. I'm sorry to see the X go, but I'm glad I'm coming out whole.
