Rob, you don't really believe that, do you?

There are more moral issues under the sun than those raised by Clinton.
According to the pundits on the news this morning, the primary moral issues in this case were abortion and gay marriage. I wonder how this will affect the likelihood of a constitutional amendment and any appointments that may need to be made to the Supreme Court.

I'm hopeful, but no, I don't think the country is ready. Still, it's fun to tease all the Hillary haters.

My thoughts exactly. While I don't hear any of the media bring this up it's clear that Bill's deeds really woke up the Moral Right and they came out in force.
I think you are putting the cart in front of the horse. It was the Moral Right that made the big deal about Clintons transgressions.

I hate to admit this - but the GOP plan was brilliant. To dlq's point: I believe that I heard last night that 20% of the voters last night were Evangelicals? That's a massive turnout.

Their strategy of motivating their core voters was very effective. Fear (terrorism) and bigotry (gay marriage issues on the ballots of many states) = a strong turnout of GOP voters.

4 more years? Which nations do we "liberate" next? We've got plenty of bombs and there just isn't enough freedom to go around in this world.

Only if the Repubs get drunk with power, put up an extreme rightwinger, and force the public to make a bad choice. If the Repubs have the smarts to put up a centrist like McCain Hillary will get Massachusetts.

See, the folks who cast the winning votes don't think they were motivated by fear or bigotry. But you can call them those things if you like.

Boy the Hate never stops does it.

I believe that Hate is what caused Kerry to lose. The entire underpinnings of his campaign has been Hate.

The undecided, when it came time, couldn't vote for Hate.

They voted for policy and principle, not for a platform built on Hate.

I think thats what pushed vote to Bush more than anything else.
