BRR, Dave.
Emile that's a TON of snow.

It's snowing here now. We were supposed to get 1-2", instead we are at about 5" and it's still snowing. It was not a nice commute for some this AM. I had trouble stopping at one point. I hate it when that happens.

My other HUGE problem of the day was using auto start, which turns on the heated seat. I didn't have the snow cleared off the car and opened the door. Snow hits heated seats = quick melting = wet backside. Have I mentioned this winter season is not my favorite time of year?

grumble grumble. dusting was just about an inch, just enough to make a mess but not really enough to plow.
counter guy got his panel van/truck stuck, had to salt and sand him out. My wife had the GL550 so I couldn't just pull him out.

Its warmed up to 10°, sun's out, and only 1" of snow. I'll take it over the other options we have.

Yikes...gonna be a blizzard southeast VA tonight through tomorrow night. Could be up to 15". I know my relatives in Va Beach are not happy. We are on the upper fringe and expect very little.

Patty, we have been in a rental while we looked for a place to buy. Found a place in June and have been remodeling it since. About complete.
I painted the garage today, and have 11 boxes of floor tiles to put down when I have a chance. Doing black and silver in checkerboard style. I painted the garage "flag" blue, came out great.

It was -17 on my drive to work this morning (31 miles) and I had been there for 30 minutes when they cancelled school so I just finished some paperwork and went home. They are predicting 2-6 more inches of snow tomorrow and then rain on Sunday. I spent 3 hours pulling snow off of the roof where I could reach and cleared as much away from where it will come off when the rain comes so that the house doesn't get flooded. This could be bad by Monday, but we will see. Tomorrow's race is going to also be interesting in these conditions.

Looks like our folks in MA are getting slammed, too - LB at home and at the Cape. How bout you, Lainey? Are you adding to yesterday's total?
