My daughter lives in FL and she will be the first to say she misses the four seasons - so it's not all paradise.

^ Yes, I like the seasons, too, up to a point. My sis said she would never live in FL, but her husband wanted to and he owns properties there. So, she's there. If she ends up alone, she will move to New Bern NC where my niece lives.

Well, we finally got rid of the fog in the afternoon. Crazy...today some clouds and 50, after three days of very dreary weather.

^^ New Bern appears to be a really nice place. Airgate spends some time there and posts lovely pics. We chose SC over Florida for several reasons, not the least of which was the extreme heat at times and no real seasonal changes. Here we have hot summers with a lot of humidity but we get some cooler weather. Since I live in an area of dense forest we also see color in the Fall. Winters are far more temperate than they were in VA. Right now the temperatures are cool in the evening but warm up to 70s in the daytime. I like it. The Fall Colors are muted by comparison to the mountains of VA, but I love the brilliant yellows of the maples and hickories and the muscadine vines.

We got our first dusting today its better than the freezing rain we had the last two days. Guess its time to pull the insurance on the S. I'm starting to ask myself why do I live up here?

Yep, and down south we are changing the tires for a run at the track!

We are headed for mid-60s the next few days. It will be in the mid-70s on Kiawah Island this weekend.

Supposed to be mid 50's here tomorrow and through the weekend. Unfortunately our roads froze over one night last week and the salt trucks came out in force so my S is now off the road for the winter.

Just put the battery back in mine and pulled it out of the back garage. Going to cars and coffee this weekend! Unheard of in NY in December.

Warm here in the 50's through the weekend think I'm going to have to put chlorine in our new outdoor ice rink!
