It's been HOT here in the Bay Area, Livermore hit 108 and Napa has been 101 - 103 all week. No chance to cool down the house at night. Slightly cooler today (97) then tomorrow things start dropping fast back to normal 80s. Have gone to two movies this week just to stay out of the heat. (Mr. Holmes is a very good movie BTW)

Well temperatures are back to normal range, but fires are close again. The newest one (Valley fire) began yesterday and in 18 hours burned 40,000 acres! It's made the valley full of smoke, closed the highway at the north end of the Valley and sky is very very hazy.
