I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, Fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore can't remember if I'm 85 or 92, lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

On the more serious side of this topic. Do you have a Will and "Living Will" drawn up?

Quite frankly, I am always amazed at how many people do not. FACE IT PEOPLE, we are all going to die, it is just a matter of when and how. I just don't understand the reluctance that people have to make a "Last Will & Testament". It defies logic?

Most people do not like to think about death. We all know it is inevitable but buy ignoring it we tend to not worry about it. So people do not like to have wills because it reminds them of death.
Just go into a serious surgery! You will have a lawyer draw up a living will, no matter what age you are. Have you ever signed the consent for anesthesia (sp?). It basically tells you should you die, it's not their fault.
So it is much easier to ignore the fact than to face it.

Loved the one about hiding your own Easter eggs.

My Dad (92) is always complaining that he needs another enema. It drives Mom up the wall.
