Hi everybody!
53, just bought my dream 2001 Spa Yellow AP1 with over 132,000k miles from its from new owner. She is even more vintage than me, and didn't feel she could drive it safely anymore. I took her almosy 10 years agao I would buy when it needed a new home, and two weeks ago it finally happened.
It was daily driven year round, outside parked (under trees on gravel, amongst hungry rodents) hit once, paint is strictly a 15 footer (at best), replacement soft top, 4 well curbed and permanently dirty wheels, stock speakers are toast, driver side seat has a crushed bolster, and well torn (and duct tape covered) seating area. But mechanically well sorted. I already love it to pieces. Restoration plans already underway.

Welcome. Well sorted mechanicals are the key. All the other things are cosmetic or comfort and can be sorted out as needed. Enjoy the ride and restoration.

You are both giving the new member the wrong impression. We all know that Laguna Blue is the fastest and best looking!
